Default 1997 corvette alternator,how do I wire it to work without PCM??

1997 corvette alternator,how do I wire it up to make it work without pcm???i been searching all Over the forum and I seem to get conflicting information!i called S&P performance and mark there told me pin D goes to solid 12 volts and pin C goes to 12v switched on by key!!is this correct??

what engine do you have? and look at a pinout of the ecu and it will teell you what the alternator is. and the alternator has to have a 12v switch
