i used the stock kooks bolts for the headers with no problems. They are grade 8 so they wont break they will strip the thread out first. none have shoke loose i only use bolts that are grade 8. The gasket you will want to use the mls gasket and kooks sends you a mls that is there brand and they look good.

Today is a big day for me....on my way to Auburn,CA to pick up a 2002 Corvette LS engine for a very low price. Only 78K on motor it is complete ecept intake and electronics. Helluva deal for $800! I'm gonna mod the **** outta it then pop it in my 99 Z28! Not B4 I get a 6 speed tranny to bolt up to it 1st however...I just love MT's It will be an incredible addition to my crazy exhaust setup. Ever so slowly my race car is transforming. I think I actually like the SLP loudmouth sound....fooking loud and obnoxious.....like a stock car roaring on a Friday night at the fairgrounds!

I have Kooks 1 7/8's and their 3" ORY paired with a GMMG. All together it's the best 2 grand I've spent next to buying the car itself.

Kooks are a good header. See my sig .... but ARH are on another level if you can believe that. They cost a little more but you will see where the extra money is going when you hold them in your hand.
