airbox and intake temporary fix?
airbox and intake temporary fix? Ok I have a problem and I think I have a solution. I have a WS6 lower air box and lid but I have recently sold my WS6 hood and installed a flat stock hood. My problem is obvious that I need a non WS6 lower air box... I got that and it will be here Wednesday. My problem is I need to drive the car in the mean time.
My solution was to take and buy (for get the part number off hand) a cone air filter...install it directly to the maf just like the lid. I will then take the iat sensor and do the timing tricker mod to it so it basically reads as if the lid were sitting there. Any downfalls to this plan please share. It's only a temporary fix until Wednesday.
