1998 alternator - I need to rewire, HELP!!!

I have had my engine down for a long time. I am about 2 days from firing it up and the alternator is standing in my way. This might sound like a strange question, but please go with it...

How many wires go into the plug for the alternator? In which slot on the alternator? Pics?

1 wire......but its a 4 wire plug
