Default Startup issue after LS6 intake install

Installed a LS6 intake manifold yesterday on my 2000 Trans Am. I went ahead and sealed the EGR off but on the driver side I have a two pin wire that I can't locate where it plugs into. I have attached two pictures to show specifically which one. I tried to start it and it revs to 4K without pushing the gas so I have to kill it immediately. Everything else with the install went smoothly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

IS that plug somehting to do with the EGR stuff? and the free reving is probably an vaccum leak. did you get the HVAC line plugger in on the back of the intake?

Thats either for the fuel return valve or the vacum ball towards the back of the intake. That ball has a vacum line from the back of the intake to that ball or whatever it is then a vacum line into the air pump for emissions. its either one of those.

I think it is my EGR not being sealed properly, zeroed the TPS sensor upon some advice from a buddy. Started car, revved to 3k and died shortly after. Started again same issue, it's raining here so tomorrow I'm going to reseal the EGR. If that doesn't solve it, I will check the vacuum lines. Thanks for all the replies thus far!

Both of you were right, realized I no longer have the air vacuum solenoid valve and can't get it back since it was left on a different LS1 intake I no longer have. I plugged the vacuum line to it and it still has the same issue, I don't have block off plates yet otherwise I'd just yank the AIR and EGR. I'll continue to update this thread until issue is resolved.

the wire is part of the AIR system. took all the BS off my 01 ss last wk. ur vaccum leak could be on the back of the intake on a very small line. for the wire was a soloind, then a vac line to a big canister that had 2 big hose for the AIR system to the exhaust manifold. on top of that canister is a small like that went to a t-fitting and plugged into the back of the intake on the passenger side. start there. if u need a pic, ill get one loaded up of my BBK SSI intake and see if that will help

that line is on the back of the intake by the oild sensor

I wasn't planning on removing the AIR but since I don't have the AIR solenoid I figure I might as well pull it and the EGR as well tomorrow and just order block off plates on Monday. Removing them shouldn't have an effect on the way the car runs outside of pulling a CEL, correct?

Removed the AIR and EGR today, ordering block off plates tomorrow. Once I get them on I'll try it again.

I yanked the EGR and AIR, put on block off plates with proper seals. Checked the vac lines to the intake, issue is still present. It sounds like it has a backfire through the intake, sprayed it with carb cleaner to try and find any leaks and there were not any to be found. Any other suggestions? Car has been down for almost two weeks and I'm running out of ideas.

The IAC valve could be stuck open, they get gunked up with carbon.
