LS1 header gasket questions...

LS1 header gasket questions... I am putting my 02 z28 back together after a awesome ls7 lifter failure. And was just wondering what kind of gaskets every one was using. The header gaskets i got, when i first put the car together, were junk and i got about a year out of them before they cracked. I then put factory manifold gaskets in and they seemed to be ok for a while. Now that the car is apart and going back together i was just wondering what kind of gaskets were the "better" ones? Any input would be great!!!! Thanks!

I'm still running the stock 79k mile gaskets that came on my T/A. They've been through 2 different sets of headers. My camaro had papers ones on it and after I took it apart and replaced it with carquest mls gaskets it wouldn't seal. I ended up having to flat file my headers and I used the Percys with the fuzzy stuff on them. The MLS probably would have worked after filing them but the percys ones are good as well.
