I already have an air lid, exause, and gears.. should I go with the intake first or some headers + y-pipe?

Thanks, Im thinking of going with a set of pacesetters I'm sure a tune would be needed after?

Longtubes are flat out one of the best mods for LS engines. They really help to wake the car up. Go for some TSP 1 7/8" stainless longtubes if you're on a budget.

And a tune isn't mandatory right away with headers. You might run rich after the install, but it won't hurt anything to wait until you get the ls6 intake and anything else before the tune.

if youre planning on internal mods in the near future than hold out on a tune. even if you plan on an ls6 intake at least wait till then.

yea the car will survive without tune, but it killed my gas mileage... id recommend tune sooner than later. O and +1 on pacesetters, paint will burn off after the first drive but whatever. sound makes it all worth while!

LTs is the way to go. i didnt feel much of a gain without a tune. but after the tune the car woke up a ton.

Noob question here, but if you run headers without a tune you'll be running rich of course, but how much fuel economy would you lose?

^^ shouldn't be too bad, when I ran mine after LT install without tune and to be honest I didnt notice the difference mpg wise now the sotp after headers that's a difference story lol.

To OP I vote for TSP 1 7/8" stainless headers and their stainless ORY, you can't beat the price.

Gas Mileage tends to go down as it is more fun to push on the go pedal with LT headers.
