FAST 102 INTAKE is FULL of OIL ?
-Owner built the motor with stock rods,polished crank,Diamond Pistons -6 cc dish,RHS 205 heads milled to 59cc[ GM 52 mls gaskets],Vindicator
cam,block was very clean & just honed,Fast 102/102.
Now the puzzle .....ALL Cylinders are holding 148to 152lbs comp. , oil pressure is 40psi at idle & 50 to 60psi when cruising .ALL Intake/Throttle Body & PCV lines were run as stock was .
It started smoking BAD & have traced it to oil in the Intake ALOT & is burning it back thru the motor .I pulled the PCV line & ran it to a seperate catch bottle & only have the 2 lines off the passenger side head giong to the Throttle Body & the Intake.
Pulled Intake COMPLETELY Apart & cleaned good.Owner drove the car about 7-8 miles to his house real easy & Intake was soaked with oil AGAIN .I am not exact but guess compression is about 11:1 or so .For now the car has manual brakes so the booster line from the In take is capped off fwit.
Is there a need for catch cans or evac lines ?Thanks for any help

Was the FAST new or USED? Culd have already been oil in it if used.
The rear driver side and rear passenger nipple and pcv groument will come together into a single ling, then pcv, then catch can top.
Catch can side will goto Intake manifold.
back passenger side line to Intake
YES these 2 lines are joined with a y into 1 line & are fed into the driver side PCV valve .
The PCV valve line was routed into a catch can by itself just to see if this changed the problem.I am a conversion shop & have done many swaps but never had this issue.This is the first Fast 102/102 a customer has used ....it just happened to be on a fresh motor.
My own '72 SS Camaro is running FAST 92/92 with ALL lines in stock routing with no problems.And yes this Intake was BRAND NEW .It has filled with oil 2 times now & was properly cleaned each time before installing again.
