Save you money. Buy a Turbo system. Blow your 10 Bolt. Buy an MWC 9". Have fun.

For the most part a strut tower brace is aesthetic. Some people swear by them, some disregard them. I've driven with mine on and off and I can't really tell a difference taking roundabouts in the 40 mph range. They're a pain to work around or take off almost any time you need to do something.

That being said, I'd never remove mine permanently. There's just something about it.

For $800 you can get ARH if I'm not mistaken.

Aftermarket rearend with 4.10s/ 4.11s for a strong foundation to build on. And even without added horsepower the gears will make your car a blast to drive.

Whats ARH? lol

Okay so here is the deal. Talked to a ol buddy of mine. He now owns a tuning shop in Manhattan kansas. I get all parts for 40% price! and work is for free! he has a dyno machine in the shop along with a airlift. Im getting the following for under 3K. Longtube headers, cam, heads, manifold intake, big mouth throttle body, 4.11 gears, LS9 clutch, and strut tower brace. Any other parts i could need?? thoughts?

American racing headers, one of the best headers. If I could afford ARH I'd buy one over any lt headers out there.

If you can get those parts for 3k I'd consider it a good deal. Since you're buying brand new parts. What heads and cam and what kind of intake manifold btw?

I have a LS6 intake I'll sale you if you're interested. You'll need to reuse the evap canister/sensor from your LS1 because I took it off the LS6 to reuse with my FAST intake.

I'd message PatG about the cam. For heads, AI ported 243's are good, but if you're saving tons of money look some different PRC models.
