Hey guys, finally finished the catback + tips.

Here's a back-view. Looks great, a lot better than stock that's for sure.

Huge thanks to two LS1tech members, poltergeist 02 (Hooker Aerochamber cat-back) and deceptionz99 (Corsa clone tips). Saved me some bones, well appreciated. Gotta love these forums.

Ok I took a video with my EVO. Not very good quality, but at least I tried. It does not give it justice...sounds great in-car.

Minor rubbing in the back, only on certain surfaces (angled, etc). Will have to adjust it to clear whatever it's hitting, but it's not too bad-- still have a permagrin on my face haha

Unless you get away from horrible merge ORYs, you will always have rasp.

Flowmaster pr equivalent merge or TDs.

agreed. I just went from 3" TD's dumped back to a ory and installed the FM merge (3">4") on a single 4" exhaust, still no rasp, at least not up to 6500 rpm's.

I will throw in another prop to Hooker also as I now have their Max Flow muffler on my car and love it.

Do they make this in stainless? I just can't get past that... I hate any kind of rust on my car, even the exhaust. It sure does sound great though.

I have 1 3/4 Hooker ceramic coated LTs with a catted TSP 3 inch Y-pipe then 3inch I-pipe to hooker aerochamber muffler to CME and it isnt very loud at idle or moderate driving but gets pretty loud when you floor it. Friends say its loud when were racing and I am out in front of them but mild when normal driving. ZERO RASP! The only deal is that is a ton of cash spent on an exhaust system. Headers-Catted Y--3"I-pipe---3"over the axle pipe to the Aerochamber muffler then factory dual 2.5" outlets to the CME.

I had an Aerochamber for a while with a 2.5">3" FM merge on a catted Y and I still had rasp 2200-2700rpm.

Went to ORY with 3">3.5" FM merge and a 3" in/out Maxflow and haven't looked back. No rasp except for slightly in very cold conditions. Love the Maxflow too!

I had a Hooker LT and Aerochamber muffler. I never had any rasp and it sounded great.
I currently run the Hooker Maxflow and it is quieter than the areochamber and has a different tone as well.

ive got a hooker aerochamber with mac mid length headers and catted y with a decent merge and have zero rasp, a little bit of drone though. And yes it is VERY quiet at idle but loud when you get on it. Its actually quieter with a fulll exhaust at idle than my catback only corsa was
