heads question need answer soon
heads question need answer soon im building a forged ls1 that will have a F1 procharger on it, i have a buddy who is offering a set of stock 241 heads for cheap. would it be worth it to get these and is there anything i can do to them to get great flow out of them and see good gains on the motor or for my setup would it be better to just get a set of aftermarket heads.

Not really those heads are not really a good stock head unless worked over. My advice if you have the change call TSP or other vendor here and get a set of trick flows or afr heads. If not AI ha one of the best cnc programs for LS heads, you could send yours their.
thats what im asking is it possible to work the heads over to a reasonable price and to be up to flow spec that i need to support the F1 or will a set of afr's or trick flows be a better bet and outflow the worked stock heads
