Engine Ice coolant safe to run in Ls1 cooling system?
http://www.engineice.com/
We run this stuff in our turbo snowmobiles and our dirt bikes. Besides the fact it would be super expensive to fill a f body cooling system is there any reason I couldnt run it in my car?
I am worried about corrosion or something odd. I know there is a certain coolant you are not suppose to use on LS motors because of the aluminium block but I am not sure why. I would hate to buy 200$ worth of coolant to have it eat my engine lol.
Maybe somebody could clear this up for me? It might be worth the $$ for that little extra detonation protection on a hot day.

It sounds like a big waste of money to me. A properly maintained cooling system filled with Dexcool and distilled water should never overheat if you're just driving around on a hot day, plus you know you'll have the proper lubrication and corrosion protection with Dexcool. If your car sees extreme duty the only useful mod I know of is an LT1 radiator.
