Default Bassani True Duals?

Is there a reason more people don't go with Bassani's True Dual system? It seems pretty good for under $1,000

It's only a bolt on deal with factory manifolds. It takes some serious adjustment with headers, IIRC.

Surely an exhaust shop could make it work with headers?

True duals at 2.5 each show better gains than a 3 inch catback.

It will walk all over a catback, all duals will

It isnt a pain to have work with headers, its literally 2 cuts and welding on some 3 bolt flanges and reducers. But to answer your question OP most full length true dual setups cost less than that. My under the axle duals cost me just over $700 our of pocket, take it down to $400 after I sold my exhaust the same day. My friend got his 3 inch mandrel duals over the axle done for around $1000 with cats and tips. Both were made for our cars. So its really a matter of less cost for a more desirable result.

Thank BLk98! I'm guessing you've got a local shop that does it....nowhere around here will attempt it. The Bassani system is stainless as well, so that probably adds some cost.

I got the bassani. i see a few threads on here once in a while but not often. Reason i went with them is they are a full stainless exhaust system and is the entire exhaust. All you have to do is cut the front two pipes and weld on whatever adapters that will fit on your headers. I did it myself and is very easy to do.

After i priced out how much a stainless y pipe and cat back system was the bassani was about the same price, yet will flow more than a 4" cat back system will.
