Yep, I run the Wix and it fits in there nice and tight. You can be sure with the extra thickness, it seals up the lid perfectly. The K&N garbage was so loose it practically flopped around in there and you could visually see it wasn't sealing the lid all the way.

Yeah I just don't trust the k&n. The wix def seals up better by far

I think from what you guys have said everything seals up better than a k&n lol

to be honest, i wouldnt even put a k&n in my car. yes they flow better than a paper filter but think of how much stuff goes through it let alone the oil getting on your MAF sensor.

I actually have had a K&N for the last four years and nothing visable has gotten through. Maf is still debris and oil free and after the last engine teardown everything looks great still. I think if they are oiled correctly (not over-oiled) they work just fine as a filter, and no fitment/sealing issues here with an slp lid/k&n combo whatsoever. Paper is cheap and easy though and no real need for a k&n. My .02.
