They are the same size 2" and 1.55 exhaust , they are different material. LS6 had sodium filled and hallow stem.

Depends on how much your planning on paying for them. Add cost, port, valve job and valves... It may be cheaper to buy PRC heads for TSP. check the total cost 1st

Nice triangle castings. Same ones I have. When I send mine to Tooley I plan on turned down LS3 valves, so paying extra for the LS6 valves wasn't needed in my case.

Not ls2 243s came off a 5.3. And that sounds good just got to save up Alittle more to get them worked. Can't wait to get them on and really wake up my ls1.

So like I post before.

You just payed $300 for heads...

Your going to pay $500 for port and polish...

Idk what cam you have but I would run PRC duals if your going to run a bigger cam... Or 918 for mild can.. So PRC are $300 from TSP. 918s are $200

New valves will be $300 from WS6Store or TSP...

And idk how much you can get a valve job for but I'll just throw out a cheap number so $100

$300+(heads)$300+(springs)$300+(valves)$500+(port/polish)$100(valve job) Thats $1500... Or $1400 for 918 instead of PRC Duals...

For $1500 you could have got PRC 2.5 LS6 heads from TSP.. everything brand new and ready to bolt on.. Those heads are PROVEN. Should have just went that route...

Who knows how good the port polish job will be from your machine shop.

Goodluck on build
