I'm curious to know if the 97-04 LS1 Corvette cold air intake would work on a '02 LS1 Camaro with a stock hood? Has any done it or seen it done?

Specifically which CAI are you talking about? I mean, something like a Vararam or Breathless Vortex Ram Air, there is no way I could see that working but I'm curious to see which one you're talking about.

Maybe like a K&N FIPK, Aircharger or the one from BBK. I just type LS1 CAI in the search engine and it brings them up but they don't have names just says corvette CAI. The body of the intakes look flattened so i'm wondering if its flattened enough to fit under a stock hood since they don't leave you much room under there. The fliter turns downward and looks to me like it would sit in the same area as the like the duct from the SLP induction kit.

Man, I'm looking at them and I just don't see how any of them would physically fit under the hood of an F-Body, they just look too big to me. What's stopping you from just doing a $90 lid and a FTRA/SSRA mod?

Yea i noticed that seems to be the most popular set up, but before i did it figured i'd see if anyone had done the corvette CAI. I think it would look good, sound good, and probably pull in a lot of air. But like yall said i figured they would still be to fat the stock hood just leaves no clearance. Well thanks for all the input, gonna just go with the Lid and stuff.
