Ok I have a slightly different problem than most in the past have posted about these dreaded codes while having lt's installed. On my car I dont have lt headers.Im using stock 02 fbody manifolds and the o2 sensors are relocated just pas the collector due to space on the 87 transam.
Now heres the deal,Ive had my car tuned a few months back but had a few issues and couldnt make a decent pull on the dyno.I had a bent front driver o2 clearly faulty so I got codes for broken heater circuit but it did read switching properly.I had the occasional 1153/4 and miss fired codes due to bad msd wires.
Ive since then did a tune up and replaced both o2 sensors with new bosch 13111s,new plugs to tr6's,new granitelli wires.Rear o2s are deleted.I went to my tuner today to do some more driveability tuning. So my missfires are gone, driver side o2 reads correctly no codes, but front passenger o2 constantly reads higher and doesnt show rapid switching like the driver side and in turn makes bank 2 run rich all the time.the tuner deleted the code for now since it makes the car run open loop and then both banks run pig rich. But he says he only disabled it from setting the ses light and there is still an issue either its the o2 heater/sensor could be lazy,or i could have a bad injector on bank 2,or a wiring issue from the o2 to the pcm.
Reading here i see alot of mixed opinions about the bosch o2s..some switch to denso's.Who has successfully cured these problems and I dont mean just deleting a code to mask it.I dont believe in that solution especially seeing the o2's not switching correctly between each side. What tests can i do to narrow it down..its costing me good gas and power.

yea im ordering a set of denso's just incase.my tuner also told me to have the o2 bung checked for the depth and that maybe when my exhaust was done they could have used the wrong bung and the sensor is barely sticking past the bung itself giving this issue.so im looking into that aswell.

Updating this thread.I switched my pass side bosch o2(looked almost new still) to a denso o2 and the 1153 code hasnt come back.BUT...I now get a 1154 again lol. So I changed the driver o2 to the denso aswell..but the code keeps coming up 1154 every other day if I clear it.The bosch that I took out from the driver side this time does not look as clean as the passenger side..it was slightly black carbon film on it.Is it possible Im running lean on that bank?
