Default Dumped duals

Have my headers right now, waiting to be put in. Deciding between going with a catback or dumped duals. If I go duals Id have dummy tips out the back.

How hard is it to have a shop fab up dump duals if I supply the X pipe. Also which X pipe would be best to use. I can't really see myself paying $500 for what looks like an x pipe with two mufflers and turn downs on them.

How much do you think the shop would charge if I supplied the X and mufflers?

Thanks!

price of pipe, material and labor i would assume...

Im in the same boat with the duals dilema.. my thing is i couldnt see paying $500 for mild steel.. what maybe 12 ft of it..lol you can kick ROCKs!

I was patient and found a SWEET deal on a set of hooker LT's and the TSP true duals with bullets.. I only spent $650 shipped.

My advice.. go with the duals.. but be patient and find a deal. no need to spend so much for so little... ya know

on the other hand if your in a hurry you choices are limited and sometimes you gotta bite the bullet for the good stuff.

Good Luck

If you supply the x and mufflers, you would still have probably over 500 in The setup.

Easier way...

You can order the tsp duals without mufflers and just do the rest yourself with a welder.

I had a shop custom build my entire system out of stainless, x-pipe and all, and it ran me a bit over 600. I still have my driveshaft loop, too

Make sure your exhaust shop can do mandrel bends. Vast majority only do crush bends. In which case, that prefabbed TSP unit looks better and better.

Don't be surprised. I was quoted by 3 different shops between 75 and 125 bucks just to weld bullets on the end of my collectors.

Also remember, the tsp system is aluminized with mandrel bends...the pipe You get at the shop will not be, and If it is you will pay more.

Then why are you asking us how much it will cost? Call your shop.

This guy hit the nail on the head. After paying for the x-pipe, pipe, mufflers and the shop labor, you're going to be right at what the Texas Speed true duals cost. Plus, if the shop can't do mandrel bends, then it's not worth it.

By the way, Texas Speed True Duals sound ****.
