Use chambered mufflers, similar to the ones they use for GMMG, I always wanted to do that. Got some cheap ones here, that would be pretty loud too...

Sweetthunders are a chambered muffler, i love the st but over time they have gotten to be over kill loud and i want more of a nice tone, that open pipe sound that mimics an old farm truck is why everyone goes with duals,

I cannot seem to find any camaros with classic chambers and that makes me want to do exactly that. I know the GMMG is comprised of these and I might just see how they sound through true duals. Feel free to throw in anymore ideas but so far classics are winning

Do not put them before the X, that defeats the point of running one. Here is my LS1 GTO with Sweet Thunders and an H pipe

I think you would like the Flowmaster 10 series mufflers. Very loud, but provide a great tone.

I know i need a vette but one must live within his means right?

As for the motor you have hit on the entire point of this thread. Here is what I said in post #4 "I want to get some of the open pipe sound back. I feel like if it was a 12:1 motor this wouldnt be an issue but being cam only I think I need to open it up more."

I really just don't like flow tens in person. I am in love with the open/racecar/nascar type sound. But since boomtubes are illegal i think a bullet will finally get me there. Its between dynomax, sweet thunder, and powersticks at this point

The mufflers dampen the pulses before the x, reducing scavenging. No other vette system is configured like that

My vote is for the dynomax bullets. That's what I have and I think it fits what you are looking for. It will be plenty loud at idle and absolutely scream at WOT.

My vote is magnaflows, my friend and I both had a dual system out the back with him using dynomax bullets and mine was louder...prolly due to a bigger cam but I loved it.
