lt install? ok im at the point of installing my pacesetters. right now I'm doing the passenger side i can almost get it in but it seems the oil filler neck is in the way. does this thing just pop out or is it screwed on secured from the inside of the valve cover? also, i pulled the whole dipstick assembly out of the pan was that a mistake or can i use some magic to fish it back in. be aware my magic is running low so i must conserve. thanks for any help provided

you can feed the oil dipstick tube back in, its not hard at all, especially if you have a friend to feed it from the top and you get under the car and guide it back into the block. I didn't have any issues with the oil filler neck, take a rest for a bit then see if you can wiggle the header in place. Try different angles, and try not to get frustrated. its a tight fit but it should slide up against the head very nicely

yah it sounds like you need to jack the car up more...use blocks er whatever you have thats pretty stable to stack on your jack youll need like 24" of height. I had no issues hitting the filler neck...and yeah your supposed to take out the dipstick take your time and youll get it back in

i got skinny arms, so i snaked it in while a friends pushed from the top. It can be done trust me. I slid my buds dipstick in, in like 2 minutes, mine on the other hand took some time.
