Default Quick opinion please...

My compressor crapped out yesterdy (I live in Tucson az... CRAP) I found one at a scrap yard for 150 with 99000 miles on it. Or... A new one from autozone for 260. Whatcha think?

Thanks in advance

If you need it ASAP I would say go for AutoZone one, it also most likely has Lifetime warranty on it as well...

Don,t waste your time on a used one , unless it,s cheap &extremely low miles.

Yeah that's what I was thinking guys thanks. I forgot to ask about the mileage when I first talked to the lady. It's a good thing I called back! 99,000 sounds like it's gonna break any second!! But yeah it's over 100 degrees all the time here and my back sweat is outta control!!! So I'll prob just buy the Autozone one

New one. Who know how long that thing has sat in the junkyard. And if it's missing any ac parts or has a cracked line how much moisture got into that compressor

Autozone, nothing like having a warranty on something like that.

Yeah, buy new. You would be pretty pissed if you had to change it out again in 100 degree temp.
