Default ? about vacuum pump

Hey guys, I just installed my own catch can, and I'm also in the process of installing the vacuum pump found on TATOMMYWS6's website, www.tatommy.com Anyways, I do not have the same LS6 PCV system that he does, I have the stock LS1 system so I can not tap mine into the same place. I was wondering if its possible to connect it to a t-fitting I installed on the hose right before the PCV valve. I attached pictures of where I want it to go. Now the pump only goes at WOT, I am wondering if this will pull air from inside the intake being so close to it, or will the PCV valve stop it, and allow it to pull through the system like I want it to. Thanks!

If the T-fitting is on the block side of the pcv (which it looks like it is) It should work, although I think it depends on which vacuum is stronger, if the pump can pull the valve closed of if the intake velocity will keep it open. I think worst case it just doesn't have any affect, I can't see it hurting.

Thats kinda waht i was thinking. I was also planning on putting an additional PCV valve in the line that runs to the pump, so when the pump is off then the engine vacuum wont pull air through that. Now, the other thing I was wondering, what if I removed the PCV valve all together, plugged that hole in the intake, and let the pump run the whole time the car is on? If you can't tell, I'm bored and looking for things to mess with
