Default Valve cover question

ok not the typical valve cover question.
im trying to return oil to my valve cover via the STS style route, however i want to do it to the driver side.
question is, will a oil cap thread on that one or do i have to have a filler neck in it and then cap it? my PCV system has been converted to LS6 stly PCV so the 98 LS1 port is capped there anyway.
I have an oil cap with -10an connection built into it. i want to hide the oil hose that goes there and keep it simple as well. anyone have any insite on this?

If you pull the valve cover, you'll see there is some sort of "filter" built into it so it doesn't suck up (that much) oil. The only concern I'd have is how much flow can you get by pushing oil back through there.
I wonder if I'd be easier to just drill and tap a hole towards the back of the valve cover and seal it up with Teflon tape? Just an idea, dunno.

is the filter built into the pcv tube portion or is it actually in the valve cover itself?

I would just drill and tap the valve cover unless you tap out the pcv part of the valve cover...
