2000 SS - Want to use Flowtech Terminators

2000 SS - Want to use Flowtech Terminators Hey guys
I am getting an exhaust planned out, and have always used Flowtech Terminator mufflers. Yeah I know no one uses them heck half of you prob havent heard of them...I used them on my 06 Base Vette and my 67 Chevelle SS396 and always loved the sound and they outflow Blowmaster (LOL). Anyway, they make a muffler with 2.5" offset inlet and dual 2.5'' outlets. I want to make sure this muffler would work on a stock SLP SS car. I am not near the car at the moment to measure the exhaust but need to know if I need a 3" inlet or 2.5" inlet...the 2.5" one is made for third gen. F bodys, not sure if that helps but i am pretty sure the mufflers on 3rd and 4th gen are similar...just need specs...I am sure my exhaust guy can make it work either way but would like to know...thanks!
