alternator problems
alternator problems I have the truck alternator, i have the .5 watt 480 ohm resister, and 12v wired like I've seen on the forum write ups but mine isnt charging.. bad alternator??
from the shop manual for a 98 LS1 camaro:
1) check for an open or poor connection in circuit 225 between the generator terminal L and the instrument cluster terminal A14
2) Check for an open fuse 9 or circuit 39 to the instrument cluster. (if fuse 9 or circuit 39 is open, the instrument cluster will not operate correctly.)
I would also get the alternator tested at an auto parts store
