Default Picked up 6.0 block, thinking 414ci???

Picked up a iron 6.0 from a freind for a real good price. It is bored to 4.040 right know and he said that I will need to be a 4.050 or a 4.060. It came with a Lunati Crank 4.000" stroke that is in great shape except the reluctor wheel has split. I am going to get a new reluctor wheel pressed on when they machine the motor. Here is what I am thinking, having the motor bored to 4.060 with the 4.000" Lunati crank, getting forged pistons and rods. Not sure which pistons and rods yet. With that calculation I am thinking 414ci will be nice. They headbolts have already been drilled and tapped to 1/2" so I will have to get 1/2" studs. I am not sure which ones yet, I believe studs for a viper motor? Let me know how this sounds. I will be spraying a shot of nitrous on it I am definally looking to spray a 300 shot for sure. All of this will be going through a Th400 transission also. Please give me some input on the setup so I can get it roling. Thanks

talk to your machinist talk to TSP a few times to figure out what rod and pistons you need.look into some l92 heads and a custom cam to work best with the NOS spray.

I am going to be giving them both a call tomorrow morning. I am pretty pumped for this setup. I think it will be a torque monster.

AFR heads will work better if you plan on spraying 300 or bigger shot. L92 heads can be ported to work really well on that motor if you have the right person doing it. The problem though is that they can't take a xxx shot. I think its because once you port them to flow enough the casting just doesn't have enough metal left to take the hit. That's just what Erik at HKE told me about the Greg Good L92 heads on my car at least.
