answer.......
get rid of the loudmouth and get a flowmaster. Thats what i have on my car and i sont get any wrasp. it sounds nice and throaty, it's also fairly loud. I too am looking into headers. I wanted to go with FLP's but the collectors are way to small for the power i am going to push eventualy.

If you have cats the Loudmouth will sound good but it probably still won't be deep or or rasp free enough for you.......have you considered true duals? $550 or less to the axle......cheaper than a Y-pipe and cat-back combo a lot of the time......I wouldn't get a flowmaster cat-back they seem to have a reputation for sounding good but flowing poorly on our cars........
well, I just had QTP's installed on my car this past weekend with catted Y pipe. With QTP's the resonator will have to come off b.c there is not enough room to run the resonator. so the shop cut off the resonator and just ran 3in pipe from the ypipe to the rest of the exhaust. I can tell you that the drone on the highway is gone, however, the car is much louder, & deeper, and sounds great
