New Intake Manifold... New Problem.....:\ Hey yall,
Well i installed my Ported Fast 78 intake the other day and the install and everything went well... i just have one hiccup that happened to me today. After i finished installing it i went for a drive and all was okay no CEL's etc, but car didnt feel as strong and im sure its because the AFR is pretty off from the ls6-Fast intake swap. This morning on the way to work i got a SES light and when i got to work i scanned it, Came up as both knock sensor codes reading low/no voltage or something i cant remember the codes i forgot to write them down P032x or something.
I was wondering if it was possible i pinched the lines for the knock sensors causing it to not receive signal, if thats the case im going to pull off the intake manifold and see what happened, but is it smart to change them or just re adjust and try again?? i dont want to do it 5 times i want to get it sorted out before i got for a dyno tune.

When I swapped my intake I changed my OPSU, KS's and harness I figured I may as well do this right the first time as the car had 120,000 miles.
I think you may have pinched the harness or the connectors are worn and not contacting good.
Time to pull it again and put in some new parts.

I never changed them but i just finished taking off the manifold again and checking out the situation... I forgot to plug in the KS, connector... Fail. But its all good now i reset the light abd she seems to be a bit better! Definately needs a tune though will be goig to Champion Motorsports for a touchup!
Now i got to go return the KS harness i bought just in case and get rid of my LS6 Mani!
