cooling issues...

cooling issues... well the last months i have noticed my engine running hotter then normal, at first i thought either water pump or thermostat. they both work and so now i'm wondering if the fact that i did my h/c swap about a year ago and it still has not been tuned would be a cause of this?? i also wonder if the CR is too high all we have around here is 93 octane...my CR is around 11.1:1...you can actually smell the engine getting hot while you're sitting in traffic...

nope coolant level is fine.. i am starting to wonder if my ported maf ends might be causing it because my car knocks BAD now.. and it has been a few months since i did that..and it didn't overheat last year so i wonder if this is a possibility??
