Good All motor/nitrous cam?
Good All motor/nitrous cam? Building a new motor for my 01 SS...Ive got cnc ported 243's with BT racing springs goin on a fresh 2002 block. The old setup was milled 317's and MS3 cam. The motor pre detonated and 3 pistons were severely damaged and the ms3 cam is no good as it is worn on 3 lobes. I was thinking about ordering another MS3 cam from tsp but decided to get some opinions. Car is a 01 6 speed ls1, moser 12 bolt 3.73 gears and full rear suspension.
Its going to be a DD so i will be driving it around more than i will be racing it. Looking for a nice street friendly cam that responds good to nitrous possibly 100-150 shot and that will go good with my 243's. Any opinions/suggestions will be appreciated.

pretty much anything with a big split, larger exhaust duration, and higher LSA
truthfully its all about valve events, but typically the combo above gets you in a very good spot for Nitrous...
