Default low idle after intake swap

i have a 2000 ss camaro, just has long tubes, ory, and just intalled a bbk intake manifold. when the car is cold on first start up, it doesnt idle high like it use too till it warmed up. it idles around 400 or lower and will die unless you give it gas. after it warms up its fine, idles around 650. after its warm it also starts and idles fine. i havent had a chance to check if theres any new codes, engine stays on after i put on the lt's and ory. is this part of the "re-learn" the computer has to do or maybe it needs to be tuned? just thought id ask for someones input and help, thanks

Could be that its relearning itself, could be bad connection to the battery. I would do a TPS reset, with the key off unplug the TPS, turn key on for 30 seconds, turn key off, plug back up TPS, start and drive.

tried that and it didnt help. correct me if im wrong but doesnt the car run off parameters in the ecm intill its warmed up, then it runs off the reading of the sensors right?

Don't hold me to it but I think the parameters are the range everything should be in to be working properly and it uses the sensors to let it know whats going on with the engine hot or cold. If something comes out of its "range" then you get a SES light.

TPS doesnt count in that equation. The PCM needs to see a TPS signal even in open loop IIRC.

It hasn't changed, I've put maybe a little over 100 miles on it. Do you think it could be the iac? Didn't have any new codes in the ecm

Is it the same throttle body you always had? If not I wonder if the set screw on the TB could cause it.
