Mid length headers?
I am interested in getting a set of headers but I will need to get a set of shorty style or mid length headers. My car is slammed pretty much so I don't really think long tubes are a good idea, plus I don't like how they hang down so low but that could be just me. Anyway, What is a good brand or style of mid length header? Can anyone point me in that direction?
Thanks!

Don't really know of a quality brand that makes a mid length header and your stock manifolds basically are shorties and you would more than likely not see a gain going with them. I run 1 7/8 Kooks with their ORY and it tucks nicely and my car is lowered with BMR springs and I have no issues at all. In fact, my long tubes and ory tuck up better than the factory stuff. What springs are you running?

Nice! I did a quick search on them and they seem to be pretty good. Any issues with them? Also, I googled them and I can't seem to find a place to buy them? Perhaps I'm just stupid?? Any help on where you guys bought yours?

Off topic... but what's the install like? I've heard undo the steering linkage and they slide in but nothing tends to be that simple.
Yeah, if you would go ahead and ask him and then PM me if he wants to or not. I appreciate it!
I ran macs for a long time. The best thing you can do is cut the restrictive collector off where it necks down and go with a 3" pipe there. I used a 3" collector extension that was 18" long before stepping down to a 2 1/2" exhaust. If your clearance will allow it then that's what I'd do as I picked up over 2 tenths in the 1/8th mile doing this.
Those tuck up really nice. I could probably get away with that, Although train tracks could be an issue. Is your car lowered? If so, do you have any clearance issues.

ARH headers are really nice, but they are also like 900 bucks. Does anyone know of a "budget header" like a TSP or something along those lines that will tuck up nicely like the ARH's do?
i have the mac mids also. grinded the primaries a little bit, replaced the 2.5" y-merge with a flowmaster 3" merge and had it all welded and ceramic coated. car makes around 410 to the wheels with the converter unlocked. i bet if i replaced the y-pipe with an x-pipe it would make even more but theres no room under these cars to do that without lots of work
the mac merge merges the two 2½" pipes into a single 2½" pipe to go into the factory exhaust but it gives up noticeable power to the flowmaster merge i have. also the flowmaster sounds deeper and less raspy
