Default pacesetters???

i have a set of pacesetter headders for a 2002 z28 and i have had trouble installing them and now they are comming apart my passenger side on one of the tubes has black exhaust blowing threw i think i got a bad set my friends have also had problems but mine seem to be the worst can anyone help i live in midland, TX

Is the gasket leaking or the weld? Can you take a picture?

yah those pacesetters are low quality imo i installed some on a 00 model didnt fit wort a **** banged k memeber and floor boards thank god it wasnt my car

mine fit perfect and no issues, same with my friends, plus i have awesome ground clearance

This is the first bad set of headers I ve heard about. The ypipes were all **** though.

We put some on my friends car and they fit great. Also great quality headers for the price. Yes they do rub on the kmember slightly but nothing a little cut didnt solve. I think you just got a bad set. Should give them a call.

I agree that the quality of the headers is good, especially for the price. I didn't mind notching the k-member. Other than that, the headers fit perfect. If only I hadn't spent the money on that damned y-pipe
