Help! LS1 wont start, idle, other issues.

Default Help! LS1 wont start, idle, other issues.

Well i got hit with multiple issues all at once. The car was overheating when warmed up ( fans work just would not turn on, so i replaced the fan speed relay, fan relay #3) I went to see if it would fix the problem but it was idling like pure ****. Then will not start.

Codes:
P0134 Oxy sensor bank 1
P0332 Knock sensor 2 low input bank 2
P0507 Idle ctrl higher than normal
P0704 Clutch pedal position switch error

I bought 2 new knock sensors to replace but they went to the wrong address so im waiting on them to actually show up at the correct address. Im sure the knock sensor is whats messing with my oxy sensor. Cars running VERY rich all of a sudden.

What about a large vacuum leak? That would make P0507 Idle control high sense.

You might also have a bad clutch pedal switch or its out of adjustment.

The O2 sensor code and the Knock sensor code are both from low activity. They could be both bad or a wiring issue or a bad computer. I don't know if the computer pulls timing or adds fuel to keep from knocking or both. It may be the the knock sensor causing it to run rich.

Let us know what you find. Any one else have any ideas?

Yeah i got hit with alot at once. Im sure the clutch pedal switch could use some adjusting, ive adjusted it before.

The 02 sensor is good, i swapped it for a new one but i think the knock sensor is messing with it so ill have to replace that.

I know timing is being pulled because power is definetly down. Not only is it running very rich but all of a sudden when i apply throttle the engine surges and spudders instead of moving normally. It spudders so badly i cant even drive it, literaly NO power at all.

I pulled the intake manifold out and noticed two things. The map sensor gasket was leaking so i redid the gasket with RTV. Also one of the knock sensors had tons of oil all over the place and the harness was chaffed up pretty bad. So i replaced the harness and both knock sensors. Got it all installed and cleared my codes. Started it up and it was running much smoother than before, i drove it around for a test and at first it was spuddering under any medium throttle but after a few miles it was driving normal again.

My temp guage is still not working right so ill have to do some research on that.
