Remove EGR & AIR Pump Wiring ?

Default Remove EGR & AIR Pump Wiring ?

im really big on a clean engine bay like every wire counts hidden and i also love less weight i mean every little gram i can save does good in my mind and was wondering if anyone has removed all the wiring to the egr i hate the plugin thats just setting in braud daylight above passenger head anywho is there a wright up on which wires are ok to remove for the air pump and egr??

Air pump wiring is pretty much hidden.. unless you want to tear the entire harness apart. That leads back to the PCM. Same with the EGR, but those would be easier to trace back and remove. EGR, I would (I have) just cut the connector off and tuck the wire back into the harness. But I use the EGR position feed wire to feed my WB02 voltage back into the PCM so my HPTuners can read it..

if i cut the connector i dont want to have it ground itself or anything and also i removed ac so i could remove both those connectors anyway

You'd have to tear the harness apart. It'd be more of a pain than it's worth. Leave it for when the engine is out and the front bumper is off, then do a proper wire tuck..

Just tape each end of the wires off or use heat shrink.

The Euro guys are experts at shaved bays..
Pretty much next to impossible to do unless you remove the engine/trans and customize the whole harness.
