Coolant???

Hey guys i have a ?, can i use something other than the dexron (i think) coolant? or can i used something else. Also, does the 40 below stuff work, or anyother good additives to add to the coolant to help keep it cool? thanks, David.

yes you can use something othe then dexcool but you'll need to do a complete and thorough flush first. its not recommended my gm thought and dexcool issues are rare.

I dont think anything is wrong with the dexcool, but i had to change the coolant temp senor cause i broke it when i was installing longtubes. What about the 40 below? does that work to help cool everything down? Thanks, David.
