check out the amount of shake i have on oil pressure gauge, oil pump is an ls6 done with cam swap, does it seem to be electrical or mechanical? o ring leaking air(doesnt seem since constant under throttle)? sensor(id think throttle vibration would cause connectivity isssues, not idle)? cluster?

Bet it's a worn sending unit. Thats probably where it spends most of its time, hence the wear. It seems to smooth out soon as you rev it a little, generating higher pressure, and hence a different spot in the sender. I'd either temporarily hook up a mechanical gauge, or just replace the sender.
