Default harmonic balancer issue

trying to finish up my 6.0 swap. ordered a new slp underdrive balancer and trying to put it on. i pushed it on there, but my install tool isnt long enough to grab any threads, nor is the factory bolt. but i can't push it on any further. so now i have an issue i can't pull it off either because i cant get the bolt in....

any help???

buy a piece of all thread,washers and nut to get you where you need to be.

got the pulley pressed on more. i was using this kind of tool:



but now...as im trying to tighten it down more, im just turning the motor over...how do i tighten the pulley without the motor turning over?

really dont know how to post a pic for the delima....i put the new bolt in, and am am needing to torque it, then turn it an additional 140 degrees...but when i attempt to torque it, i just turn the crank... the starter is off of the car, so i think im just going to use a pry bar to prevent the the crank from turning.

Ah, ok, I see (I somehow thought your install tool bottomed out).

Yes you have to block the crank either at either end.
