Default Clutch replacement on 02 trans am with No pilot bearing!

Ive seen 2 cars now with no pilot bearing in when ive pulled out the trans!One was a friend of mine and now a customer car! has anyone else heard of this? i dont see why someone would forget a pilot bearing lol i wonder if it was a mistake on the GM plant side?? weird

also damaged both of the cars trannys and had to be rebuilt!

Most likely someone swapped in engines from automatic-equipped vehicles and overlooked the bearing...
