I know the catch can keeps oil from recirculating but does it provide and hp gains? Or is it just a saftey thing? What's the purpose of a catch can

 

If a catch can gave more power I bet every one would have one lol. To answer your question I have never seen a catch can make more power.

 

Only Thing a catch can does is keep oil
From traveling through your vacuum lines into your intake and then being burned and coating the inside of the intake with all kinds of nasty **** as well. Any power gain would be from the intake staying clean. Not the can,its a great idea tho.
