So much for making it quieter
Right now I'm running a true dual system with LMII mufflers. Its something rigged up at a local exhaust shop and drags terribly and honestly I wanted something a little quieter. I just recently decided to go with a 3" Y to 4" merge with a 4" I and a 4" dynomax bullet. After I got my bullet, I have to ask myself what was I thinking. They're no way imo that the bullet will be any quieter than my LMII duals. I'm just wondering if its going to make it any louder when I swap? Both exhaust are/will be dumped?

The piping I have now is junk. If I went duals again I would have to start over. They tried to run the piping down the passenger side like the Kooks duals and ended up putting them to far back and angled down so now I can't even jack my car up by the body without the exhaust hitting the rearend. What they used for a hanger was a 1/2 piece of metal rod that bolts up where the body brace used to be and it scrapes over everything. Plus I think they tried to bend the 3" pipe with 2 1/2" blocks because the pipe is caved in in 3 spots at every bend. Its as raspy as can be.

i agree with o1ssreda4 about the bullets being loud bc i have that setup it was suggesteted by my tuner over my manaflow catback for maxium performance but he did tell me it was going to be louder but i didnt think it would sound almost like open headers so im too is looking for a quieter option on a setup like the op. i can take a trade off in power for something quieter

If it is any louder with the dynomax bullet how would adding one of my 3" LMII mufflers to the end effect flow? The car really is more of a race car anymore but I wish it would have been a little quieter. I may just send it back and try a 4" magnaflow.
