Not in all cases, every engine has different needs. Different setups want different things. I agree in MOST situations an X pipe should scavenge more, but not always does that come out on the dyno. Ive seen setups where an ORY makes more than an x pipe setup.

Yea," stop listening to dumbasses " must be hearing voices. You will be fine with 4" and a good Y , but it will never flow better than 3" TD and a X.

Duals all day every day. OP FYI the mufflex with spintech is one of the worst systems made for our cars, search and you will find massive gains by just removing the muffler

Agreed. If you ever saw the inside of that muffler you'd know why. And I've yet to see a set-up that was NA that made more power with a Y pipe than an X dumped.

I would not read a whole lot into these numbers but this is a good guide to the capacity . I wish these single exhaust fans would back up what they say with some facts like dyno pull , track times .
