Can you leave the TB on car when porting?

Exactly what the title says. I just want to know if you can leave the throttle body connected while porting it?

No.. you wouldn't want all the aluminum shavings to go into the motor would ya??

That is a bad idea, you will have a hard time porting it with it still on the car. You need to be able to hold it and get around at all angles. Like he said, you will probably get metal in your intake = bad

No way Jose. It takes 5 minutes to get the throttle body out of the car.

I need to do that...I just don't know how lol...but even I coulda told ya to take it off...no offense, just as wrencher said...you don't want that gettin sucked in
