Default V-Band Question

Ive got a ls swapped street/strip fox body and the class im going to run in requires mufflers so i plan on using some bullets. I was wondering if anyone has put v bands on the back side of the bullets and get a set of turbo mufflers with a vband them to put on for street use? It would be easy to take on and off I just wonder if the bands would hold the mufflers from spinning of would they need a hanger too?

when I had my camaro...I actually made a custom muffler setup that I had v-bands on....
I had a 4" Magnaflow muffler for when I wanted it quiet, and a Bullet for when I went to the track...
easy to change out on the ground or on a lift.

and sorry, I dont have any pictures of the v-band setup, but I went up over the axle with a 4" pipe, into a vband just before the curve, and I swapped out the entire muffler and turn to a dump

no... you still need some hangars in appropriate places.

and who says hangars make it hard to put on and off....
Just be smart about placement and its no issue.
