wondering if it would be safe to run 150-200 shot nitrous with a built 383 ls6. cr is 11.5.1. forged bottom end. worked heads ad intake, would it be to much? the rings have been filed for nitrous but i wasnt sure if the cr would hurt it. would a stand alone nitrous system be better? just need as much input as i can thanks

You can run the fuel off the rail but make sure your fuel pump is up to it. Dry or wet shot? What's your budget?

 

Usually direct ports run fuel off a stand alone.

Stand alones can be used on any type of wet nitrous kit.

Yes its safe on a good tune to run that size shot with your set up. Nitrous loves cr. I ran a 150 shot on my last motor with about 11.6-11.8 cr and it did very well
