slp smooth bellows question...

I bought an slp smooth bellows, but it will not fit, the maf end is way too big for the maf in my 98Z. Is this a defect, or am I missing something( like that I may need a bigger maf, or an adapter clamp). I bought it from ebay, but it is an slp part, I think. it is not the "plumber's helper" type, but molded into a curve, with notches around the outside on both ends. looks exactly like the one on the slp website.

please help..

try using one of those steel clamps to tighten it down

WAY too big!, this thing is solid(rubber laminate) and will not compress that much.

perhaps the bellow is made for a bigger MAF like the SLP 85MM one?

that is what i was thinking, but slp sells these as "bolt-on" parts. right?

One side should be bigger than the other. The bigger side goes on the throttle body and the smaller on the MAF. I don't mean to be poiting out the obvious if you already know this, just throwing out my 2 cents.
