Default Will my LS2 MAF run with my 600hp setup?

So Im running a LS1, stock bottom end for now. Procharger/CNC P&P heads/Blower style cam/Long Tube headers/Full exhaust/Fast 90 Intake ans matching Fast 90 TB/few other minor things. Should dyno right around 600 when I tune it all.

Its currently running a speed density tune, but I plan on going MAF tune here in the next month, before track season opens.

I bought an LS2 MAF to run with my setup, but I have been reading that they only read correctly for up to 500HP. I have also read in other forums that they will read up to 700 correctly as long as its boost and not N/A. I dont know how that effects it, or if it really does. I also read on here that a stock LS7 MAF will read up to 800 and be fine. Will my LS2 MAF read correctly or do I need to change?

I found a guy locally that is selling a Lingnenfelter Performance mass air flow sensor. 100mm, and he wants $170 for it. Would that be a better choice than a stock LS7 MAF?

Thank you for your input in advance!

The lingenfelter/Tsp maf is nothing but an ls7 card maf in a fancy housing. Search "ls7 maf" and check out the results. You can build the same maf with a cheaper housing for around 50-75 bucks.

Im really wanting to run my LS2 MAF with it. I'm just wondering if it will work, or do I just need an LS7 MAF.

I don't think you need an ls7 maf, but for the price, you may as well. I'm sure you can sell the Ls2 maf and make up at least half, if not all of what it would cost to build an ls7 maf setup.

But, I don't see your Ls2 maf holding you back if you use it. There are people using stock ls1 maf's in applications such as yours.

You'll max out the stock MAF on a cam only ls2 with about 7psi on average. Depending on the dyno its possible to hit 600 with it but they usually max out right at the 500hp mark on my dyno dynamics. The frequency is what you normally run out on... The 512g/sec limit can be tuned around with scaling.
