Default upgrade from LS^ to 92 or 102 FAST

Just wondering what gains people are getting ... i seen an old post for a 90/90 gaining about 28 HP on a similar set up as mine. I dont wanna go to the 102 if i am only going to see 2-3 HP gain for all the extra work i am going with a 100 MM MAF on my 100MM lid

It all depends on the mods. A stock car won't see a big gain. A fully built motor would probably see ~30whp. If your running a 402 with that smallish cam you could get away with the 90mm just fine but the 102 will certainly get you more. Plus, it's just a better intake. I'd bet that 2.5" exhaust isn't helping much either.

With my stock cube 346 I considered the 90/92 route. But I had/have biggger plans. With a 402 I wouldn't think twice about going straight to the 102.

102mm would be worth the swap for you IMO.

Grats on the 102. I highly suggest the exhaust be your next step. That 3" single is holding you to sub 400 before you start getting losses. Meaning anything over 400bhp and it's costing you power. I'd say single 4" or dual 3".
