5.3 and 6.0 Intake question... years of compatibility
5.3 and 6.0 Intake question... years of compatibility Hoping to find some quick advice here as my search for part number 25328620 didn't yield any results.
Essentially, my father has an '06 Silverado, 5.3L and the intake is cracked (collision.) We're scrambling for a new intake and a friend has a complete 6.0 (pn 25328620.) He's willing to part with the intake/etc, but doesn't know the year of the engine. I'm told the 5.3 and 6.0 intakes WILL swap, but it seems to be year dependent. 99-03 appear to work together, but 04-06's are different from the earlier years. So, can anyone definitively tell me if part number 25328620 will work on a '06 5.3?
