H Pipe Check List
H Pipe Check List Okay, in the next month and a half I will have true duals. Right now, I'm going through a check list of items that I will need. What I need from you guys is to tell me if I'm missing anything before I go to the muffler shop and look like an idiot because I don't have all of the proper parts on hand. Checklist so far:
TSP 1-7/8" LTH (already on car)
Flowmaster U-Fit 3" H-Pipe Kit
Panhard Rod Relocation Kit
2 Magnaflow 14419 Mufflers
This true dual setup will be OVER the axle. It's my thought that longer pipes will give me a deeper sound.
My Questions:
1.) Will a 3" H-Pipe work OVER the axle? I know it'll be close.
2.) Are these all of the parts that I need?
3.) I want a really really low and deep "shake the earth" sound. Will this setup do it? Yes, I am aware of ls1sounds.com, but half of those audio clips don't address deep sounds properly and distort.

I'm guessing I missed something from looking at other threads on h-pipe v x-pipe. Basically from what I gathered the only difference is a few horsepower and the way that they sound. Is there some clearance issue with an h-pipe v. an x-pipe? Thanks.
Over the axle you will need a Panhard Bar Relocation Kit. UMI sales them.
I have a tsp true dual set up, and it sounds like a can-am car lol
( cam-am was a mid 60's-70's no rules racing series where 9.0L big blocks ruled,
and they sounded like they were goin to shake the earth apart lol )
